Foreclosure Prevention

If you have fallen behind on your mortgage, BNI can:

• Answer your questions regarding the foreclosure process.
• Assist you in evaluating your options.
• Assist you in pursuing alternatives to foreclosure.
• Assist you in developing a realistic budget.

Rental Assistance

If you are having trouble with an apartment, BNI can:

• Assist you in resolving landlord/tenant disputes.
• Identify other resources available including emergency payment assistance, security deposit loans, and information regarding tenant rights and responsibilities.

Reverse Mortgage Consultation

If you are a homeowner 62 years old or older BNI can:

• Assist you in understanding reverse mortgage costs, options and alternatives.
• Complete the "Certificate of HECM Counseling" required by HUD.

Technical Assistance

If have questions about the home you own, BNI can: 

• Assist you in obtaining resources for repairs and/or weatherization of your home.
• Provide advice on rental management, maintenance, and other homeowner concerns.
